🐝 A Safe Place to Learn, Grow & Play
Your child’s safety is our top priority. We’ve created a space where children can explore freely, caregivers feel confident, and everyone understands the shared responsibility in keeping our Nest welcoming and secure.
👩👧 Caregiver Supervision during Open Play
All children must be accompanied and actively supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times during Open Play sessions.
🧼 Cleanliness & Sanitization
Toys and materials are cleaned and sanitized regularly using child-safe cleaning products.
Hand sanitizer is available at all stations.
If your child is feeling unwell, please stay home and join us another time—keeping our community healthy is a group effort!
🚸 Play Rules & Respect
To ensure fun for everyone, we ask that families follow these simple rules:
Be kind and gentle with others.
Shoes may not be worn on play structures.
Take turns and share materials.
Clean up after your child when possible.
Use “walking feet” indoors to avoid accidents.
🐝 Allergy Awareness
We strive to maintain a peanut-free environment. Please avoid bringing food with common allergens and let us know if your child has any specific needs.
📝 Waiver Required
All participants must sign a Liability Waiver before their first session. This includes agreement to supervise children, follow posted guidelines, and acknowledge potential risks associated with play.
📚 Drop-Off Enrichment & Class Policies
The Little Hornets Play Nest, LLC is an independently owned and operated business. We are not licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education & Care (EEC) or any other state agency.
We follow state guidelines under Occasional Child Care regulations:
Children attending without a parent/guardian in the building may do so no more than 4 hours per day and no more than 6 days per month.
For Instructional Classes:
Unaccompanied children must be properly registered for the class.
Children must be picked up promptly at the end of each session.
Caregivers must be reachable during class time in case of emergency.
These guidelines help us maintain a safe, enriching environment while remaining compliant with state requirements.
